Currently based in the Blue Mountains of Australia, I'm originally from the east coast of the United States. Growing up in a small country town in New Jersey, I was surrounded by the natural beauty of forests and farmland, which inspired my creativity at a young age.

 

As a child I would play with my grandma's polaroid camera and disposable Kodak film cameras. I received my first DSLR camera as a gift from my dad, and since then, I have been developing my skills and style as a photographer. Being a Neurodivergent individual I found it difficult to find a career path that fit my needs and interests.

In 2006, I moved to Rochester, NY to study Mechanical Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology. After graduation I met my now husband, Ronan who was from a place I had always dreamed of visiting, Australia! The first time I came out to visit I decided I needed to move to this beautiful country. I booked my ticket, brought my cattle dog with me and have now been here since 2017.

Today, I am proud to run Red-Tailed Studios, and to offer my clients breathtaking images that capture their most treasured moments in time.
